New Halifax Online fully compatible with MTE
To utilise the new process to access Halifax via MTE an advisor must first ensure they have:
-
Registered for the new Online Intermediary service via www.halifax-intermediariesonline.co.uk/_mem_bin/formslogin.asp.
Once this has been done the advisor must use the Halifax software in Online mode.
-
The desktop Halifax Intermediary Mortgages application (V9.5) needs to be configured
to work Online by clicking Help > Application Access and pressing “Enable Access”:
Click here for a screen shot
If an adviser has the v9.5 software set so the Online Access = Off but has already
registered with Halifax for the new Intermediaries Online service then, upon
completing the Mortgage application using v9.5, they will get the following message:
"as you are registered with Halifax web site application then you have to do the
AIP on that platform"
This error has been reported to Halifax for correcting.
In the meantime, advisers shouldn't need to re-visit the Halifax application process.
This should only be done once.
Access to Halifax online via MTE provides access to Halifax KFIs, the Halifax Mortgage
Promise and Full Application process, Further Advances, Product Transfers & Halifax
Insurance Products.
